two days before christmas..

its raining raining..christmas party here and there..

happy christmas everyone!

Tuesday, December 8, 2009

My idea of a perfect Christmas
Is to spend it with you
In a party Or dinner for two
Anywhere would do
Celebrating the yuletide season
Always lights up our lives
Simple pleasures are made special too
When they're shared with you

Looking through some old photographs
Faces of friends we'll always remember
Watching busy shoppers rushing about
In the cool breeze of December
Sparkling lights, all over town
Children's carols in the air
By the Christmas tree
A shower of stardust on your hair

I cant think of a better Christmas
Than my wish coming true
And my wish is you'd let me spend my whole life with you
repeat II
chorus
My idea of a perfect Christmas is to spend it with you

UNDAS!

We are having a long weekend for the celebration of the All souls and saints day and Early this afternoon we went to Butuan City to visit my Lola Adela's libingan. Mama ng papa ko. I was not able to meet her. She died beforeI was born. I don't have any idea what she looks like. Sad to say I can't find any pictures of her . My father doesn't talks about her and tell us what and how she was as a mother to him. Tomorrow we will be in Tagbina, Surigao Sur to visit the graves of my mother's parents and relatives.

When it comes to celebrations like this I can't help but asks when will be my time, what would I feel if ill be in my own grave...I think there's no one who can answer these questions wala pa naman akong kamag anak na bumangon mula sa kanilang mga hukay. hehehe ayaw pud in tawon. We should really pray and commemorate all our departed loved ones.

hehe lain paminawon but death is something that every one should prepare for.
"You will not know how to live if you will not know how to die'' - from Tuesdays with Morrie. Bilib jud ko ani na line because every time i realizes that i am going to die ill also always feel na it is good to be alive. But no one can live forever that is why we need to make most of our time and start living.

ILIGAN AGAIN

Weeew nako iligan karon and tyming pud na naa c ate Cheryl. She was once my boardmate. I just came from an entrance exam for the MSU- College of Law this morning. And it wasnt easy. I got nervous and I wasnt able to comprehend the instructions immediately. I didnt know why I was so tense, my hands were shaking. Mura pug just now lang ko naka take ug exam all my life. heheh lol well it was my first time talaga to have an exam like that and murag pang taas-taas xa na level not because the questions were hard to answer but this time I am pressured to pass the test. I have to meet the expectations of my future benefactors. hehehe...

so help me God. Help me to accept whatever the result of that exam. let your will be done papa God.

Why is it that in the symbol of justice the woman is blindfolded? what is the significance of the sword and of the weighing tool. This is one of the ten questions. Bakit kaya nuh?hehe plus naa pajud question na if you are in a ship in the middle of an ocean then it is about to capsize then the captain declares an order to abandon the ship. Who will you save a two year old child left by his parents or an eighty year old woman left by his son? Sinong Pipilon mo kung ikaw ang magdecide?

it was stated in our questionnare that there are no correct or wrong answers you will be graded according to your reasoning and grammar.

i just wish that my answers will meet the standards of the one who will check our test papers.

heheh mao lang sani akong e.chika karon. Ill enjoy my stay here nalang. Ill be home on tuesdays mag unwind sa taraw ko...heheh bye bye for now...Godbless sa tanan and MABUHAY! heheh

when it rains it floods...

Bagyong ondoy ruined millions of properties and killed almost a hundred of people plus unaccounted missing. Ipagdasal po natin ang lahat na nasalanta ng bagyo. And let us also pray na hindi na sana ulit mangyari ang ganitong pangyayari.

if there is one thing that we should learn from this devastating event ay dapat na tayong kumilos in restoring nature. Dito sa Mindanao particularly in Agusan del Sur we may not suffered this time pero paano tayo makakasiguro na hindi tayo masasalanta sa mga susunod pa na mga bagyo? Every day pila ka kahoy ang pamutlon. Maghulat pa ba ta na bahaon pud tang tanan diri bago ta mag ignay ug mag mahay? Sa pagpamutol pipila ra ang makwartahan while kung bahaon nata or kung mas worst mag landslide pila kaha ang maapektuhan?

A happy day!

uhmm taud taud napud ko ala ka post Im quite busy for the last two weeks. I was transfered from our planning department to the office of the assistant schools division superintendent. My new boss is Mrs. Virginia Cuizon. They are the best!! excellent sila when it comes to their work... very systematic. hehe we are still in the same agency mag kitakita ra gihapon mi.

Last Monday to Wednesday I was in Davao nag attend ug workshop. It was a very relaxing trip I enjoyed the luxury of staying in a hotel. We stayed at the APO View. I like their amenities the hot and cold shower, the super comfortable bed, the scent of their bedrooms... soo clean and refreshing. VERY RELAXING jud aaahhh lami mag puyo didto. Plus their foods specially sa ENTREE bar and restaurant the BEST pud. Our three day accomodation was for free. Perhaps that was all part of the non wage benefits you will get when you are working in the government. And these benefits are something every one should not abuse and overuse. CORRUPTION naman dayon nah..heheheh!

Every one please be honest labi na kadtong naa sa pang gamhanan!!!

tapos ON SALE pajud ang mga DURIAN sa Davao!!!

ps: AZAHDKOHAPPYDAY! wabumuch...8u!

August 30, 2009 Talk 3 : Repentance and Faith

Talk 3 was held last night at the CFC center. Tagos sa bukog ang discussion. I felt guilty sa tanan nakong kalapasan. I realized how weak i am. The testimony of the speaker was so inspiring. He was a drug addict and a pusher. He even got to the point of being insane. His life and his relationship with his family and friends was destroyed by drugs. But he was able to restore his self and dignity through Singles for Christ. He repented and start living again. He was healed and now serving the community.

August 12, 2009 three years and counting...

Life with you is wonderful
Its been three years now and with no doubt we're still counting
the past is not an issue what important is We'll have the future together
Problems and trials may come
help me pray that we will be able to surpass them
i know it won't be easy but I believe in you
and i hope you are believing in me too

Thank you for always being there
for understanding me in times that i am hard to understand,
for making me laugh and making me feel loved.
Thank you for the patience and for forgiving my little mistakes.
Thank you for the effort of making me feel better every time i feel bad
and thank you for the commitment that we have.

we'll make our dreams come true
I know we will make it
Though we are apart now
but soon someday
We'll live a happy and contented life.

MAGING SINO KA MAN..

Ang pag-ibig ay sadyang ganyan
Tiwala sa isa't isa'y kailangan
Dati mong pag-ibig wala akong pakialam
Basta't mahal kita kailan pa man

Huwag kang mag-isip ng ano pa man
Mga paliwanag mo'y di na kailangan
At kahit ano pa ang iyong nakaraan
Mamahalin kita maging sino ka man

Mahal kita pagka't mahal kita
Iniisip nila ay hindi mahalaga
Mahal kita maging sino ka man

Mali man ang ikaw ay ibigin ko
Ako'y isang bulag na umiibig sa `yo
At kahit ano pa ang iyong nakaraan
Mamahalin kita maging sino ka man

Mahal kita pagka't mahal kita
Iniisip nila ay hindi mahalaga
Mahal kita maging sino ka man
Mahal kita maging sino ka man

I JUST LOVE THIS SONG. IT INSPIRES ME TO LOVE TRULY AND UNCONDITIONALLY.

August 4, 2009

Last Sunday I watched the BUZZ and I saw the interview of Ms. Kris Aquino. I could not help but admire the relationship they had with their mother. I admire their family the way they love each other and the way they took care of their mother. I do not know Mrs. Aquino personally and i wasnt even born when People Power happened but it is so obvious what kind of a leader and a mother she was by the way people celebrates her life now. Rich and Poor walk their way to La Salle and to the streets of Ayala.

Kris is right in her interview that we should take care of the democracy her parents had regained for us. Cory wont live forever for the Philippines and as citizens of this country we should also take our part and do something that would make Philippines a better country.

THANK YOU PRESIDENT CORAZON C. AQUINO!! You will always be in our hearts and what you've done for our country will never be forgotten.

Noon Ika'y isang kaibigan lamang
kaibigang naging matalik na kaibigan
subalit ngayon tayoy nag iibigan.

Hindi man tama
subalit kailan may hindi ko ito pagsisisihan
Sabihin na nilang lahat na mali tayo
Anong paki ko at anong paki mo?

Paki alam nila sa buhay ko at buhay mo
Hindi bat buhay natin to?
Ahh Basta! Pangako ko
akoy laging tapat sa iyo.

PROUD TO BE A FILIPINO!!! punches of a great boxer. Hattton got knocked out on the second round of their fight. It feel so Good that the No. 1 Pound for Pound Boxer of the World is a Filipino. Manny Pacquiao is really a good example to every one. His success is something that we should not be envious of but it is something that we should take as an inspiration. His COURAGE, DISCIPLINE AND FAITH are the elements that made him of what he is now. Perhaps these are the things that we should imitate from him.

TRIP TO CAMIGUIN (April 8-12)

CAMIGUIN ISLAND

this is the collage of our pictures taken when we were on our way to the island of Camiguin and we were riding a RORO vessel. There were a lot of passengers, we even had to cancel our first ticket and had it refunded because the vessel got overloaded and the PPA wont allow it to sail unless it will discharge some passengers. We were boarded to another vessel Super Shuttle Ferry (Sakay Na!). We arrived at Guinsiliban Port after an hour then we took a Motorela to Catarman. On our first night we stayed at the Residence of Mrs. Cenia Jurial. Our stay was free of charge. The next morning we visited their Sto. Niño Cold Spring and the SODA Spring. It is called SODA spring because it taste like SODA. Our next location was in Mambajao the capital of Camiguin. We stayed at a lodging house. We visited their Ardent Hot Spring, and then take a look at their Katibawasan Falls. And the last place we visited was their White Island (SOOO AWESOME made of crashed shells).

I really had fun... that was my first vacation with my friends..whew ( hala ka oi dagko najud mi!). We spent most of our time laughing, eating, walking and riding a motorela. The people there were nice and accommodating though there were few who were rude and wise but Camiguin is a safe place to spend a vacation. If you love nature then take a visit to Camiguin. You'll experience a total vacation package. It is also a historic place. From mountains, volcanoes, hot and cold springs, caves, diving spot, to white beaches... what more will you ask for?...

Slow Dance

Have you ever watched kids

On a merry-go-round?

Or listened to the rain

Slapping on the ground?

Ever followed a butterfly’s erratic flight?

Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?

You better slow down,

Don’t dance too fast.

Time is short,

The music won’t last.

Do you run through each day

Or do you fly?

When you ask, “How are you?”

Do you hear the reply?

When the day is done

Do you lie in your bed

With the next hundred chores

Running through your head?

You’d better slow down,

Don’t dance too fast.

Time is short,

The music won’t last.

Ever told your child,

“We’ll do it tomorrow?”

And in your haste,

Not see his sorrow?

Ever lost touch

Let a good friendship die

‘Cause you never had time

To call and say, “Hi?”

You’d better slow down,

Don’t dance too fast.

Time is short,

The music won’t last.

When you run so fast to get somewhere

You miss half the fun of getting there.

When you worry and hurry through

your day,

It is like an unopened gift...

Thrown away.

Life is not a race,

Do take it slower.

Hear the music

Before the song is over.

I copied this poem from FUNFARE By Ricardo F. Lo (Philstar News Service, www.philstar.com). It was stated in his article that this poem was originaly written by a child while dying of cancer at a New York hospital a few years ago. Isn't it nice? it is telling us to love and value our friends and to make use of our time and enjoy life's simple pleasures...

03/30/09

i spent my weekend at home sleeping, watching movies and feeling lonely and blue. i watched the movie The Revolutionary Road and i would suggest that any one in a relationship should watch this movie.

here is the plot of the story:

Set in 1955, Frank (Leonardo DiCaprio) and April Wheeler (Kate Winslet) move to Revolutionary Road in a Connecticut suburb, and have a daughter and a son.

April is dissatisfied with her life as a suburban housewife, and Frank despises his marketing job at Knox Business Machines, where his now-deceased father worked for twenty years in a similar position. The Wheelers feel they are unique and special, but trapped in the conformity of life in the suburbs, where they moved to raise their children. From time to time they have bitter arguments, with Frank berating April and acting out physically.

On Frank's thirtieth birthday he seduces a young secretary from his office, and begins to sleep with her on occasion. Returning home late, April surprises him with a birthday cake and a proposal that they move to Paris, with April working as a secretary to support the family so that Frank can discover what he truly wants to do in life. Frank is reluctant at first but ultimately embraces the idea, and the renewed optimism breathes fresh life into their relationship. Colleagues and friends react politely to the couple's decision, but tell each other they consider it to be immature or impractical.

Meanwhile, Frank's talent at his job earns him some recognition, and April becomes pregnant again. April wants an abortion and has bought a device she has heard is safe if used in the first twelve weeks. Frank disapproves. Later, Frank is offered a promotion and raise at work. Eventually he tells April that for the sake of the unborn baby he has decided not to go to Paris. Later April has sex with their neighbor and friend, Shep Campbell.

The Wheelers are friends with local realtor Helen Givings and her husband Howard, who occasionally visit with their adult son John, a former mathematician who now lives in a mental institution. John has no inhibition about asking the Wheelers direct personal questions and offering his blunt assessment of their dissatisfaction with marriage, work, and life, to the embarrassment of his parents. The Wheelers are interested in him for his perception and honesty. However, when John learns the Wheelers have cancelled their trip to Paris, he becomes agitated and begins to insult them, saying he feels sorry for them and their unborn baby. This leads to an argument, in which Frank tells April he wishes she had chosen an abortion. April tells Frank she does not love him anymore, and in fact hates him.

April runs into the woods and asks to be left alone. She returns and, the next morning, calmly acts the part of a supportive housewife. When Frank leaves for the day she attempts to perform an abortion with her device, which goes wrong, and she dies later that day in the hospital. Frank moves to the city with the children. The neighbors' lives carry on and they tell each other in various ways that they disapproved of the Wheelers. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Revolutionary_Road_(film))

the movie was touching... leo's acting would make you cry.. lesson learned? while you are still single live your life to the fullest, pursue all your dreams and ambitions so that by the time you will meet that special someone you can live your life without hesitation that you still have a lot of things you want to achieve or a dream to pursue. because when you are in a relation you'll have to consider the welfare of your partner too and both of you must be leading into the same direction, both of you must be pursuing the same dreams so that you can live happily ever after...
